Mansbach- Levyim Family

The first column identifies the groom: Juda MANNSBACH born in Olpiny, egg dealer in Jodlowa.  Son of the both deceased married couple, SOLOMON PERETZ and MALIA MANNSBACH, traders in Olpiny. He was 56 years old. the next  entry describes the bride (his second wife) Malka Fenichel, born in Ryglice, daughter of Israel Isak and itta Fenichel, leather traders in Ryglice.  She was 30 and single. On the second page, it says the wedding took place in Jodlowa on February 27, 1906.  Solomon Frankel, Rabbi of Jodlowa officiated.  the witnesses were Leib Szenker, iron monger and Israel Wurzel, schochet in Judlowa.

This document is important as it identifies Solomon Peretz MANNSBACH as the father of Jehudah MANSBACH and shows that the family was from Olpiny, Poland as was the family of Joseph David MANNSBACH.  Additionally,   family tradition said that Jehudah MANSBACH raised chickens;  here we see that he raised chickens because he was actually an egg dealer!

Cyporah MANSBUCH died 7 PM May 14, 1897 in Judlowa, House Number 31, buried May 16, 1897; wife by religious marriage of Juda MANSBUCH, glazier in Judlowa; cause of death-heart defect,  age 45 years, eleven months.
