The five MANSBACH families came from very small shtetls east and generally south-southeast of Tarnow, including Judlowa, Nowy Sacz, Olpini, Dombrova, Rzepiennik, Biecz, and the larger cities of Rezezow, Pilzno and Tarnow.  The nearest "big" city in the area is Krakow.
