Mansbach - Levyim Family

Itamar Kazachinsky notes that "the five letters of the Hebrew alphabet have a different symbol when positioned at the end of the word; KH-M-N-P-TZ.   They are often written in the end of the Torah, etc. to say "THE END."  There were discussions in the Talmud about the hidden meaning of this word and proposals to change the alphabetic order.  Instead of the traditional usage KHMNPTZ which may be read as Ke Me Na Pe TZ, MeNITZPeKH.  Why?  Since KeMeNaPeTZ means "like breaking the Tables of the Decalogue by Moses, the prophet."  And you don't want to end the Torah portion by saying the Ten Commandments should be broken.  So, instead the Talmud suggests using a different order, i.e. MeNITZPeKH, that can be interpreted as "we watch and observe the commandments."

MANSBACH AND THE TALMUD

MANSBACHs who perished in the Shoah include:

One other note on numerology.  i understand the Takanta Shabbat prayer of the 8th century read in the Shabbat Amidah contains a reference to MANZEPAK.  Perhaps it was written by a MANSBACH who wanted to get his name in the papers.

There are seven MANSBACH families today that descend from one of the following MANSBACHs:

It seems extraordinary but the name MANSBACH or MANSPACH is discussed in the Talmud at great length. Why? The letters making up the name "MANSBACH" pronounced in Hebrew MANZEPAK,  are unique to the Hebrew alphabet.  These were the only letters that did not fall out of The Ten Commandments when they were smashed by Moses.   The Talmud also says that a group of men calling themselves The Watchmen existed during the time of the Temple as well.  Perhaps our MANSBACH ancestors were the The Watchmen, or a political group that later called themselves The Watchmen.  Perhaps we should be on Game of Thrones.

As discussed in letters from Pinchas and Elimelech MANSBACH, the numerical values attached to the five Hebrew letters comprising MNZPK have a numerical meaning as well.

The reversed order of MNZEPAK matches the prayer Adonay Melech, Adoay Malajkh, Adonay Yimloch, Le-Olam Va-ed since the value of the letters in Gamatria is 40, 50, 100, 90, 20.

So it looks like there were MANSBACH's walking around the streets of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.  and writing prayers somewhere in the Diaspora six or seven  hundred years later.  Not to mention the Horowitz family(our paternal ancestors trace their roots back to Adam.  Something of note for future MANSBACH biologists:  In every generation for thousands of years,  a MANSBACH male has had at least one son who lived to procreate a son. That means that in each generation a MANSBACH father had a son,  not just daughters, and that somehow,  even if that MANSBACH died without any issue, a brother had a son.  The MANSBACH boys are good swimmers.
